N I K E | Women’s Basketball Launch TV Campaign
This campaign launched Nike Women’s Basketball, the founding year of the WNBA. Despite it being 20 years old, it still holds up with an authentic premise and emotional punch. The series follows a fictitious high school basketball team through their season documentary-style, editing their experience into short stories. The spots aired weekly, mirroring what high school athletes were going through in their own season, week by week. The 12 spot campaign was created on the budget Nike had set aside which was for 3 spots.
